Not following path when carving using pocket function

Hi,

I have problem with easel not folloing path when carving pocket. First run is OK, but half way thru secund run the x jumps 3,5 cm. See picture. I have tighten all screevs etc. Any idea what I do wrong?

Most likely lost steps, most likely due to machine not able to carve effectively the feed/depth rate you are at.
If the bit is sharp, go less deep.

GShield or X-controller?

I use the GShield. I will try with less feeding speed.

Try shallower depth per pass before slowing down feed rate.
With the gshield unless you have already will benefit from being adjusted to correct current limit for the motors. I suspect they are being powered below their optimum limit. Underpowered = more easily steps lost.
