Z axis plunging too deep

I am having a strange problem. my Z axis goes in almost inch deep into the work piece. I tried using Z Probe, set the height manually , deleted the machine from easel and re crated it, re-uploaded the firmware. I do not understand. what I am missing.

This thread outlines the default settings from a few years back. Your $102 might be wrong.

I would get an accurate scale and determine how much the Z moves for an input jog of " your choice of measurement".

Then you can do the ratio to change it if need be.
